…not much to report in on my end, but Mom & Dad had a wedding to attend in Covington, KY which meant a new road trip for me!
We got to visit with Cincinnati friends at MadTree Brewing on our way to town, and while there it was announced their Happy Amber beer placed in the Great American Beer Festival! Dad’s beer was pretty fancy – a S’mores Stout that was accompanied by a toasted marshmallow, while Mom enjoyed Pilgrim for the “First Day of Fall!
I had a relaxing night in with a sitter while Mom & Dad headed out for a lovely wedding at the beyond gorgeous Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption & reception at Hotel Covington.
As we made the adventure back home, Mom & Dad made one more stop to get me introduced to one of Mom’s college roommates and her family! Always cool to meet more friends over a yummy brunch at Le Peep before we made the drive back north.
I’ll definitely have to get back to KY to enjoy more of what this state has to offer (Mom & Dad tell me horse races are pretty fun ☺️). Although this was an extra quick one, I’m continuing to enjoy road trips and exploring…Looking forward to the next adventure!
