October 1 – October 4, 2018
Age: 6 Months
I’m sure Vegas is not the first destination sought out for a 6 month old like me, but Mom & I got to tag along for Dad’s work conference…so, albeit here I am enjoying Vegas!

We had a nice stay at the Bellagio, and spent most the week strolling the strip to explore everything from the Hersey and M&M store, plenty of designer window shopping (such a snoozer), and as I’m trying more food these days I noticed quiet a few times that Mom & Dad’s plates looked a little tastier than mine. It was fun checking out the fall decor at our property and others on the strip, and I was pretty fascinated by the famous chocolate fountains in the Bellagio!
Although my parents have made it to Vegas quite a bit over the years, they hadn’t ever made a stop at the classic “Welcome to Vegas” sign – so we stopped together as a family. We happened to arrive to Vegas on Oct 1st, which marked the tragic 1 year anniversary of the catastrophic shooting. The Vegas sign was surrounded by many memorials to honor those who were lost during this horrific event. #vegasstrong
As we departed from the sign, we also spotted this cool pink classic car!

While Dad was hard at work, Mom toured me through most of the Vegas properties, which meant a lot of steps (for her) throughout the week. I simply laid back and took in the views. Some of my favorites included the infamous Bellagio Fountain Show, staring up to the top of the Luxor peak, and seeing so many sparking lights! I was also excited to find my very own personalized dice and pick up another travel sticker for my collection! Spotted the new home of the Raiders due to move to Vegas next season, had a blast at the pool , and even though I’m such a well tempered little guy I’ve perfected my poker face while in Vegas. Mom and Dad also keep laughing that I’m ready to hit the black jack tables as my attempts to wave right now resemble the (hit me) sign. With the many crosswalks throughout the city, I wish we would have kept a talley of the number of elevator rides I took this week!

Mom swore by my Nordstrom Baby Blanket (The monkeys on it keep me intrigued, and it’s the perfect weight for snuggling, playing on the hotel bed, or using for extra protection against the sun), the First Year’s Spinning Rattle (perfect size for me to hold and keeps me easily entertained), and my OXO Tot Waterproof Bibs (easy to roll up and fit in my diaper bag, and extra easy to wipe off when done eating) for this trip – making life on the go easier.

Favorite meals included:
Brunch @ Bardot Brasserie (Aria)
Breakfast @ Harvest (Bellagio)

We were lucky Gramma & Ed joined us for a few days; and, Uncle Matt & Aunt Melissa happened to be in Vegas at the same time too! I got to spend a couple nights at dinner with Gramma & Ed (Lago included great views of the fountain show) while Mommy & Daddy explored Top Golf & headed out for State Farm’s final Celebration Night with Uncle Matt & Aunt Melissa that included larger than life games – light bright, PAC Man Maze, graffiti wall and more, plus a concert with the StiX and Kelly Clarkson!

Until next time, Vegas (hopefully then I’ll be ready to enjoy a little more of what this city has to offer) ☺️ 🎰🎲
Ps. I really like this flying thing! Especially take off ✈️
